About us

You may notice that we have not included personal details, church affiliations or denominational background. That is intentional.

The purpose of this website is not to promote a particular church, denomination or organisation. Its aim is to examine the historical, archaeological, medical and biblical evidence as honestly as possible, allowing the evidence to speak for itself. Above all, it seeks to point people to the person of Jesus Christ, the reality of His death and resurrection, and the truth revealed through both Scripture and history. Rather than asking you to accept conclusions on authority, it encourages you to consider the evidence - from fulfilled prophecy, the consistency of God's Word, to the historical record of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ - and follow the truth wherever it leads.

The Bible encourages each of us to examine the Scriptures for ourselves. We are instructed to "study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial), a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analysing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skilfully teaching] the Word of Truth" (2 Timothy 2:15, AMPC). Likewise, the Bereans were commended because they examined the Scriptures daily to determine whether the things they were being taught were true (Acts 17:11).

The Bible also teaches that people are recognised by their fruit, not by the labels they wear or the organisations to which they belong. When Jesus addressed the seven churches in Revelation, He did not judge them by their name or affiliation, but by their faithfulness, their deeds and whether they remained true to Him.

For that reason, we encourage you not to accept what is written here simply because it appears on this website. Examine the historical evidence for yourself. Read the Scriptures in their context. Ask honest questions. Test what you read, and follow the truth wherever it leads.

Most importantly, remember that Jesus Christ died so that you could have a relationship with God - not merely with a church or a religious institution. Churches are made up of imperfect people, and throughout history they have sometimes failed to reflect the character of Christ. Do not judge God by the failures of people. Instead, look to Christ Himself - His life, His teachings, His death and resurrection, and His invitation to know God personally.

If this website encourages you to open your Bible, examine the evidence honestly, and seek God with a sincere heart, then it has accomplished its purpose.
